As a Seattle family and wedding photographer, I get to photograph a lot of meaningful moments... but every once in a while, a session feels extra special.

This indoor family photoshoot was with my best friend from college. We were bridesmaids in each other’s weddings, have been there for every major milestone, and somehow blinked and ended up in the “raising tiny humans” phase of life. Photographing her, her husband, and their daughter in this season felt both surreal and completely natural.

We shot in the cutest studio in SODO, and it was the perfect setting for a relaxed, lifestyle-focused family session in Seattle.
