A Country Chic Wedding at Machias Meadows in Snohomish / The Pearson's

If I could custom-order a wedding day, it would look exactly like Allie and Brandon’s.

Sunny skies.A big red barn.A white farmhouse straight out of a rom-com.Horses casually existing in the background like they were hired for the aesthetic. And a dance floor that absolutely did not quit.

This Snohomish wedding? 10/10. No notes.

The Dreamiest Morning Setup

Allie got ready in the most charming white farmhouse tucked behind the barn, and I swear the lighting in there was showing off. It was bright, airy, and full of that giddy “WE’RE GETTING MARRIED TODAY” energy.

Meanwhile, Brandon and his groomsmen were over in the big red barn doing what groomsmen do best... hyping each other up and pretending they weren’t emotional (spoiler alert: they were emotional).

The whole property felt like its own little world. Wide open land, horses grazing nearby, chickens wandering around like tiny wedding coordinators. Just casual countryside perfection.

When golden hour hit, we made a very important executive decision: we were going to the horse fields.

And WOW.

The light was glowing, Allie’s dress was catching the sun in the prettiest way, and Brandon could not stop looking at her like he had just won the lottery (which… honestly… he did).

These are the moments I love most ... when the timeline pauses, the guests are at cocktail hour, and it’s just the two of them soaking it all in. No rush. No noise. Just that “we’re really married” feeling settling in.

Also yes, the horses fully understood the assignment.

Reception Energy: Unhinged (In the Best Way)

Listen.

When I say this dance floor was elite… I mean ELITE.

From the first song, people were out there dancing like they had trained for this moment their entire lives. And it only escalated as the night went on. But the most special moment? Allie’s dance with her grandpa. Cue the tears. It was so sweet, so intentional, and one of those core memory kind of moments. The kind you know everyone in the room will remember forever.

And then, naturally, everyone went right back to absolutely tearing up the dance floor.

Balance.

The Kind of Wedding That Fills Your Cup

Allie and Brandon’s day had everything ... sunshine, countryside charm, emotional moments, chaotic-fun dance moves, and a whole lot of love.

It was joyful. It was relaxed. It was completely them.

And as a photographer who lives for candid, real-life moments? This day was magic.

Allie & Brandon you two are something special. Thank you for letting me third-wheel your best day ever.

xoxo Danielle
